On the occasion of Paul Watson's 100th day of imprisonment, Invader announces that he is collaborating with 2 different organizations supporting Paul Watson. The organizations are Sea Shepherd and Captain Paul Watson Foundation.
The Mosaics
In late September, Invader installed two mosaics in front of the Danish and Japanese embassies in the 8th arrondissement, PA_1521 and 1522, respectively. These mosaics showed the artist’s support for environmental activist Paul Watson, who was arrested in Greenland due to an Interpol arrest warrant. PA_1522, however, was destroyed only a few hours after installation.
Sea Shepherd France
Sea Shepherd is an international, non-profit marine conservation organization that specifically engages in direct action campaigns to defend, conserve, and protect the world’s oceans. They have collaborated with Invader to create merchandise to show their support for Paul Watson.
The merchandise includes T-shirts and hoodies with Invader’s mosaics printed on the front, and will soon be available on the official Sea Shepherd France store.
In addition, 100% of the profits earned from all items in the shop will be donated to Paul's liberation campaign and the actions of Sea Shepherd France.
Currently, (November 3rd, 2024) the merch is not on the official website.
