Invader’s official application FlashInvaders makes discovering street art a treasure hunt and after ten years, it receives its V3.0 update.
FlashInvaders is the official application of the artist Invader, which allows users to hunt for Invader’s mosaic art all across the world. The Flashinvaders app v3.0 was released on Jul 9, 2024, 10 years after the first version was initially published on Jul 18, 2014. This is the 10th anniversary of the application as shown in Invader’s Instagram post.
The app is already on its v3.0.1 update, featuring new screen displays, more options, and information. In addition, the update allows you to zoom in with your photo captures, unlike past versions.
From v1.0 to v3.0, the app has had a lot of updates and reworks:
A lot of reworks have been made to the gallery function. The gallery has seen major improvements from the times of long loading times and laggy interface. These issues were especially problematic when you had a big collection and an old iPhone. Some issues included incorrect preview thumbnails in the gallery, though this specific issue was solved a long time ago.
Account management is more convenient, including a new settings page for account modification which can be accessed by clicking on the gear icon on the upper right of the Account page. After the update, users can finally edit their names and link their accounts to their email addresses. Also, it is now possible to hide your player name on the Live Page. In addition, an email-based recovery process has been established to transfer your points and gallery if you decide to change your phone.
Some new GUIs are added. A new player search function has been added, which helps find players from across the globe. See their scores and ranks on the leaderboard, and perhaps give them a follow! When using the flash, a preview photo is now displayed until the actual photo is taken.
